GENERAL COPRODUCER AND VISUAL DIRECTOR
"If our books could achieve that more people come to love the things that make this such an extraordinary wildlife of this country and motivate them to defend them, then I feel that our work is truly worth the effort."

COPRODUCER, DIRECTOR OF RESEARCH AND EDITOR
"Depending on the topic, we imagine each book as a voyage, and from this arises the structure. Upon this base, we address the research and write the text always in intimate relation to the photographs. We very much enjoy inviting people to collaborate and so enrich every page with the help of people who dedicate their lives to biological or historical research."
Yazmin’s work has always gravitated around writing and research. Early on she worked as a correspondent for press agencies and Mexican television networks in Argentina and Costa Rica. However, more than 10 years ago she discovered that her passion lay in literature.
Her first novel, The Black Fleet, was published soon after the turn of the millennium by the Alfaguara publishing house, and since then she has focused her efforts on creating texts that join creativity, rigorous research, and love for Costa Rican nature and culture.
